Director of Life Safety

Scott Slough serves as the Director of Life Safety at Region 6 Systems Integration, bringing more than 35 years of expertise in electronic security, fire alarm systems, and life safety operations.

Scott holds the prestigious NICET Level IV Fire Alarm Systems certification—one of the highest certifications achievable in the fire protection industry—reflecting advanced expertise in fire alarm design, code compliance, and system integration. As a licensed low-voltage electrician with extensive field and leadership experience, Scott provides strategic oversight across the full lifecycle of life safety systems, including design, estimation, installation, inspections, monitoring coordination, testing, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

Throughout his career, Scott has led and supported high-level security and life safety initiatives for organizations including the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and the Joint Interagency Task Force (JAITF), where reliability and precision were mission-critical. His experience also includes serving as President of the Tennessee Electronic Security Association and providing professional witness expertise in legal proceedings related to fire alarm and electronic security systems.

At Region 6, Scott serves as a senior technical authority and cross-functional leader, partnering closely with Sales, Operations, Project Management, Service, and Executive Leadership teams to ensure every life safety solution is executed to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance.
